Things to do in Estepona - The essential Estepona guide.
Estepona, like Marbella is both an area and also a town
and is much more Spanish than places
like Puerto Banus.

Estepona is a busy Market town with a long Marble paved
sea promenade which is great for those wanting a long
stroll or for a little exercise. Surrounded by the Sierra Bermeja
mountains it enjoys. a unique micro-climate, which will result
in a healthy 325 days of sunshine per year.
Estepona Area Guide

The charming "old town" still has narrow cobbled streets, reminding visitors of long past days, here you can enjoy a coffee in one of the local cafes or just maybe sit and watch the world go by in one of the pretty town squares. The marina located at the western end of the seafront promenade is a popular spot with visitors and is lively both during the day and night, due to its abundance of bars, restaurants and discos.  The main attraction for visitors seems to be the beaches,  Estepona has 2 superb "Blue Flag" beaches, but also boasts some 21 kilometres of beaches in the area, so you should be able to find something to suit your taste.
There are also some  excellent water sports facilities and there are a number of golf  courses in the area. Like Marbella Estepona has a number of  museums including the Ethnographic Museum, Museo Taurino  Bullfighting Museum, the Museum of Palaeontology and an  Archaeological Museum. Visit the Tourist information Centre in  the town hall on Plaza de Blas Infante or on Avenida de San  Lorenzo for details on these museums, plus rural excursions. Selwo Aventura just outside Estepona is one of the Costa Del Sol's most popular holiday attractions. An animal come adventure park, come zoo, more than 2000 animals have a home here and you can get up close to Bengal tigers, lions, bison and zebras
