Things to do in La Duquesa - The essential Duquesa guide.
La Duquesa is located on the western side of the Costa del Sol.
A tiny man made marina and golfing community, and an ideal
location for family outings.
Traditional white Spanish buildings and many bars, restaurants
and shops for all.

Our Duquesa area guide covers just a little of what Duquesa has to offer.
Puerto De La Duquesa is a cosmopolitan port and resort, with its superb
360 berth yacht marina and is regarded from many as one of the best
zones on the south coast, with a privileged all year round climate, sandy beaches and unspoilt natural scenery

Puerto de la Duquesa area guide

The district of Manilva in the west of the Costa del Sol covers a surprisingly large area. It is on the western edge of the province of Málaga, on the border of Cádiz province. The district of Manilva covers many villages and two of them villages are Sabinillas and La Duquesa, both very popular with the tourists throughout the year. With a combination of sandy beaches, warm seas, water sports, a pretty marina, several  golf courses, no wonder that's why Puerto del la Duquesa is  flooded with tourists each year. Many people come to Puerto de  la Duquesa to play golf.
The La Duquesa Golf and Country Club  has an eighteen hole champion course as well as other sporting  facilities including tennis and squash courts and a fully equipped  gym.
You could even try the fully equipped Spa which has everything to offer, or try one of the Spa beauty treatments.
In La Duquesa you will find a large selection of bars, shops, and  restaurants to choose from, and even a super market and taxi  rank.
There are many excellent restaurants in la Duquesa serving  a wide variety of food from traditional fish dishes to international cuisine. The area around the marina is the liveliest with disco pubs and bars. Those who don't want to travel far in the evening will find La Duquesa an entertaining area after 12am during the peak season with plenty of taxi's on hand.
For those who want a little more action then I would recommend a visit to Marbella.
